The Basic Concepts

Knowing the basic concepts will help to make a choice easier:

Watt (W): Indicates the energy consumption. In contrast, states not how much light a lamp emits and therefore should not be used to compare the light forces.

Lumen (lm): Indicates how much light an omnidirectional bulb emits. The higher the lumens, the more light.

Candela (Cd): Specifies the amount of light in a specific direction and used reflektormodeller.

Color temperature: Light tint is measured in Kelvin. High color temperature corresponds to the bluish hues while low color temperature corresponds reddish tints.
